You will need to go up to the top of the cord. Look up into the hole. There is a little catch up there that you need to push one end of it with something that is pointed. This will release the cord.
I have one too that gives me fits. Be careful what you stand on. You don’t want to fall and hurt yourself over a blind. It’s best just to leave them in the down position.

Walmart has some for very cheap and even some Dollar General stores have them for cheap! They’re generally <$10 a piece at either of those! Home Depot can get quite pricey.

Where do you live? My husband owns a company in Maryland. Home Depot or Lowes are cheap but they’re not custom fitted then.

You’ll get stuck with a container load of blinds.
Not only can the large retailers buy and sell them cheaper than you could, the overstock and catalog/special order return shops can sell them even cheaper.

Install awnings for the south side exposure or buy a window filter (Lowe’s) and they are more expensive than awnings. If you can install awning yourself then you will save, my exposure occured from the back of my home so I only had to install 6 but they are good in the winter also. Good Luck with your project. PS oh, you can install a quarter awning also but I did not know that until after all mine were in.

any major caravan shop will tell you where to get proper caravan blinds.
failing that any light aluminium or plastic blinds will do as they can be cut to fit and shorten to fit any window.
i,ve put up plastic ones when i had a tourer and about to put the same up in my static.
